Background on OSF, COS, Open Science and Reproducibility
- The Open Science Framework (OSF) is a tool created by the Center for Open Science (COS). This Brief But Friendly Introduction to the OSF and Center for Open Science, will help you understand the context as well as when to use the acronyms OSF and COS.
- Once your institution adopts OSF Institutions, you may want to start coming up with ideas for the best ways to promote and use it with your community. We have these suggested Tips for Getting Started as an OSF Institution.
- In 2021, COS staff developed and presented this workshop on Overcoming the Knowledge Barrier in Open Science.
- The Open Science Knowledge Base was a COS-sponsored initiative to gather educational resources related to open science. You can find a curated collection of resources on open science from that project, along with a collection created by Framework for Open and Reproducible Research Training (FORRT).
