Membership Basics
As an OSF Institutions member your researchers, librarians, support staff, and administrators are provided tools and insights on OSF to accelerate open science practices. These guides provide a helpful reference for your membership benefits and resources to help you take advantage of them.
Some basic membership features are listed below, but more in-depth information is found on the following topics in these other guides.
OSF Member Benefits

In addition to the authenticated login to OSF for your users, OSF Institutional Membership includes the following for all members:

Institutional Details
COS keeps a record of the following information for each member:
- Institution name and URL of OSF home page
- Logo and banner images
- Text on OSF home page
- Membership renewal date
- Contacts
- Primary contact (renewals, critical service updates, etc.)
- Metrics report recipients
- Metrics dashboard access (if institution has a metrics dashboard)
- Monthly newsletter recipients
- Billing/invoice contacts

Security and Accessibility Information
- Center for Open Science Accessibility Statement explains our commitment to accessibility
