Changes to Collection Projects
Projects and Components are fluid items within the OSF, sandboxes where researchers are actively working. As such, it is expected that they will be updated, this could include changes to:
- Description
- Files
- Publication DOIs
- Affiliated institutions
- Licenses
- Tags
- Contributors
- Privacy settings
- Deletion
Rules and points of clarification
- Once originally accepted, any subsequent updates, additions, or deletions to the project/component will not be moderated.
- Any associated sub-components of an accepted project or component that are made public after addition to a collection will automatically be approved and included in the collection.
- If a contributor makes an approved project/component private after originally accepted, it will automatically be removed from the collection and will require a new moderation submission to be added back to the collection.
- If a contributor deletes a project/component it will automatically be removed from the collection and the OSF regardless of before, during, or after moderation.
- A contributor may remove their project/component from a collection at any time. The moderator team will receive a notification of this action.
